Allianz trip protection includes benefits for covered unexpected cancellations, interruptions, and travel delays, as well as benefits for unforeseen medical emergencies and baggage issues covered under the plan. Azamara guests can also take advantage of Allianz’s award-winning travel assistance and concierge services.
Allianz Global Assistance trip protection will reimburse Azamara guests up to 100% of their insured trip cost if they are required to cancel or interrupt their voyage for a reason covered by their plan.* Additional benefits under the plan include coverage for dental and medical emergencies, emergency medical transportation and lost, delayed or damaged baggage. All benefits include coverage limits and may be subject to a per-day maximum, and terms and conditions also apply.

Azamara guests who select Allianz Travel Insurance will have access to Allianz’s award-winning TravelSmart™ mobile app and SmartBenefits no receipt payments. The TravelSmart app includes an Alert Center feature which provides users with location-specific travel alerts, and is the fastest, easiest way to access a travel insurance plan, file and manage a claim, track flights, receive live updates for delays and easily contact 24-hour travel assistance services. SmartBenefits can provide reimbursement for travel or baggage delays without receipt when proof of a covered delay is provided.
